Badin Lake Receives Smart Rural Community Designation

Badin Lake, NC –Randolph Communications proudly presented the community of Badin Lake with a Smart Rural Community (SRC) designation sign, provided by NTCA–The Rural Broadband Association. The SRC program recognizes rural towns served by forward-thinking broadband providers that are building sustainable, future-ready networks. It highlights the importance of strong connectivity in helping rural America thrive.

Within Randolph Communications’ cooperative, Badin Lake is one of eight member exchanges to earn this distinction. Their recognition comes from the company’s extensive work to install cutting-edge fiber optics throughout the area. Now celebrated nationally as Smart Rural Communities, this community will be featured in program materials and showcased on www.smartruralcommunity.com, joining a network of rural communities across the country leading the way in broadband innovation.
