TELECOMMUNICATIONS TECHNICIAN
Randolph Telephone is seeking hard working, self-motivated Telecommunications Installation/Repair/
Construction Technician. Duties include installation and repair of outside plant facilities, diagnosing and repairing trouble in plant and telecommunications facilities, performing line work and ground work, operating automotive and construction equipment, installation of new service and diagnosing and repairing telecommunications equipment. Heavy lifting, digging and crawling required. Applicant must possess the ability to communicate with customers and co-workers in a professional manner and the ability to read and interpret maps and staking sheets. Information technology experience, good driving record and residence in close proximity to Randolph Telephone service area required. Employee will be required to participate in on-call rotation for service restoration after regular business hours. Knowledge of basic electronics and telecommunications equipment essential. Associate’s Degree or two years equivalent experience in telecommunications installation preferred. Salary commensurate with experience. Excellent benefits package.
